G-4 Designed
to integrate flawlessly with the Wheatstone BRIDGE digital audio
network router, the Generation 4 control surface allows you to easily
create large or small platform-based systems that are exceptionally
user-friendly and flexible. Wheatstone BRIDGE network cages house all
I/O ports and engine cards, and may be wired in tandems within a single
equipment room or interconnected to separate remote locations by means
of fiberoptic or CAT-5 cables to provide single wire studio integration
schemes.
The
latest surface software code updates include a new feature that
allows
the MXM bus assignments for a particular source to be defined in
the
software and recalled when the source is called up on a control
surface channel. Settings for the same source may be different
when
recalled on different control surfaces in a networked system. The
MXM
assignment functions then effectively follow the source through any
routing path, with settings that can vary from studio to studio.
